PhotoShop Tutorials
Today I'll revisit an older project to show you how to paint a realistic teapot in PhotoShop. Focusing on the difference between lightness and darkness, shadows and depth, you can start painting almost anything after reading this tutorial.
Contrary to popular belief, the time-lapse recording of most published speed-painting pieces does not define the process itself, but rather is a by-product of the artists choice to present the entire drawing process in one video, from start to finish.
PS News
While we're still looking for a few more news sources for the latest PhotoShop news, here's a quick update on PS CS4 11.0.1.
Since you’re at PSGeeks, you’re obviously interested in learning how to use Photoshop to its fullest potential, and to engage in discussions with like-minded PSers, and so you’re invited to finally stop Googling for tutorials, join our forums and become part of our new and welcoming community.
We're a set of web developers and PhotoShop enthusitests that have been dabbling professionally in the graphics arts for over a decade. After a year of deliberation, our skills are being put to use to create this knowledgebase of design tutorials and handy guides that effectively summarize the steps we take on a daily basis to create large websites for our clients and friends.
Stop Googling for PhotoShop tutorials, join our community and let your friends know that you've found the ultimate art resource on the web, and then after that maybe mention our site if you can. Kidding aside, we're working extra hours to finish PSGeeks, but the forums are up and running and there's already a wealth of content that we've created for other sites but are finally hosting ourselves in our blog.
